About the Author
Jan Jackson was born with an inherent love for all types of art. Raised in Los Angeles, more often than not, you would find her painting. As a young adult, she worked within the music industry--her love of music being second only to her love of art. In 1975, she moved to England, married, and started a family. In 1980, she moved to
Montserrat in the Caribbean where she co-managed George Martins famous Air Studios with her husband, Steve. In 1983, Jan moved to Antigua with her young family in tow, and made this lovely tropical paradise her permanent home. You can see her art at www.pelicanlodgestudios.com
Jan Jackson is also the author of "The Dragon of Redonda", a childrens book illustrated by well-known artist Frane Lessac. The book is published by Macmillan Caribbean.
